 Your country needs you!

Do you love your country?  Do you really understand the peril it is in. Soon the country we love may be lost forever, subsumed in a 'Union of European Soviet States'!

 If there's nobody else out there doing ANYTHING to save our country and if you or we do nothing, we are lost. Please don't fail to understand that?

The situation is that critical. We have GOT to play our part in saving this great country of ours.

S W Devon is one the nations UKIP strongholds, that makes us in this very constituency (you and me) even more responsible for doing all we can to save our country. Just think about it: if, in fifteen years time (or less), England has disappeared, what will you say to your children and grandchildren when they ask if you got involved with the fight against the EU takeover? Will it be "I fought to save my country" or "I sat back and let others do the fighting"?

So whether or not you join as a member and if you are not already helping, offer whatever help you can.

Can you help us in other ways?

There is:

      ·        distributing leaflets - in your street, your parish, in a Plymouth ward as we approach the council elections - the more people doing this, the less time it takes each of us.

·        stuffing envelopes

·        helping us with mailings like this for our members

·        handing out leaflets in the streets

·        Becoming a ward ­coordinator (Could you make your ward the strongest UKIP ward in the constituency?)

·        Giving the branch more money. You may not know this but, when you join, we, in S W Devon, only get your subscription for the first year. After that your annual sub goes to central funds. This means that, each year, we have to raise nearly all of our money from other activities. So within a few weeks we will be writing to you with a standing order form inviting monthly subscriptions. Every little helps. For example £1 per month from two members, after a year, would pay for the printing cost of this one issue of our newsletter.

·        volunteer to stand at an election.

·        helping us find some more members. These might come from talking to your friends, or, if we provided you with (say) 50 leaflets, you might be able to pop them through your neighbours' letter boxes perhaps. It really wouldn't take you long; it would be bound to bring in some members, some more money and some votes.

·        writing letters to the press

·        Simply offering to see if there is any particular job that needs doing.

So do please offer, or simply tell us how we are doing.
